Mia Konstantinidou

Facilitator and Trainer

mia.konstantinidou@boscop.org

I have been working as a facilitator & trainer since 2002. Besides Open Space Technology I focus on the work with ToP® – Technology of Participation, PSP® – Participatory Strategic Planning, Future Search, Worldcafé and Anti-Bias.

I really enjoy facilitating, working on training & facilitation concepts and training other facilitators. Enabling groups to selforganize within what they are passionate for & care about is my passion.

Already being involved in learning more about adult education & after participating in an Open Space in 2001, my journey as a facilitator started: In 2002 I was trained by Michael M Pannwitz and Jo Töpfer in Open Space facilitation, between 2003 and 2005 as a Facilitator and Trainer-Trainer of the Technology of Participation® by the ICA USA, in 2005 and 2007 by Marvin Weisbord and Sandra Janoff in the Future Search methodology and in the art of large group facilitation. Marvin and Sandra’s facilitation principles guide & mentor me in my practice.

Since January 2002 I was involved in 50 Open Space Technology events in Germany, Chile, France, Poland, Sweden, South Africa, Suriname, Turkey and the USA with a wide variety of sponsors, occasions, number of participants and times of duration.
Since 2006 I was involved as a trainer in 4 Open Space Technology Training events: 2 in Germany together with Jo Toepfer, Michael Pannwitz jr., Michael M Pannwitz, 1 in Chile and 1 in South Africa - both together with Michael Pannwitz jr.
The next Open Space Technology Training for German speakers will take place in June 2010 in Rolandseck, Germany.

Since 2008 I am on the managing board of boscop eg.
