We invite you to an Open Space Talk under the title

Gearing up for WOSonOS 2009 in Taiwan

Over the past few years we expertience that ‘Open Space Stammtisch’ is a useful gathering of practitioners, sponsors and just people with a certain interest in Open Space Technology. The Open Space Talk is the attempt to expand this enriching experince to a worldwide virtual community. On July 10th there are 125 days left before the 17th worldwide Open Space on Open Space in Taiwan begins. We would like to open some space to everybody who shares passion and resposibility to contribute to the preparation of this annual event.

Schedule for the Open Space Talk:

Start at 16.00 CET (check out your local time here…)
16:00 Break (Getting everybody connected, fixing technical problems)

Voice over IP Conversation

This conversation is an experiment that will be held virtually as a Voice over IP group conversation with Teamspeak software. To participate you need earphones and a microphone connected to your computer and the Teamspeak Client Software, download here…

The PDF documents below provide all the details about the Teamspeak software download and installation. After software download and installation you have to configure the software with the following parameters:

Server Address: 62.75.151.187
Nickname: enter your name
Login name: leave blank!
Password: rtvc

Once you are connected Teamspeak offers several channels within which parallel conversations can happen. These channels are used for different issues similar to break-out spaces in an regular Open Space event. One can switch between the channels with a mouse click that is similar to the The Law of Mobility.

Parallel Chatroom

Parallel to the VoIP connection a second channel of communication will be available to exchange information in writing in a chat feature at http://tinychat.com/includeall This can at the beginning help to resolve technical problems for those who need assistance with linking up to the Teamspeak server.

Online Documentation

We currently checking different tools and will inform you before July 10th.
